Charlie-Jade is a singer, vocal pedagogue, and researcher working at the intersection of performance, vocal pedagogy, and performance science. She is Head of Singing at LAMDA and a PhD Candidate in Performance Science at the Royal College of Music, in collaboration with Imperial College London. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, she works across performance and training environments, with a focus on how singers develop healthy, expressive, and sustainable voices.
As a performer, she has appeared across musical theatre, concert work, opera, and new writing, performing at venues including Cadogan Hall, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and BBC Radio 2. Alongside this, her research centres on performer health within professional training and industry contexts. She is also the creator of The Soprano Behind The Screen, and continues to work as a recording and session artist on collaborative projects.
